A few photos of progress at the Darling Harbour and Barangaroo regeneration below.

Construction at the giant $6 billion Lend Lease (LLC) Barangaroo project has continued apace, with the first three of the International Towers commercial builds taking shape on the old Hungry Mile.

On the western side of the harbour, next to the old "tourist trap" that is the somewhat tired Harbourside Shopping Centre, the old convention centre has now gone and the precint is undergoing a huge facelift (with a new International Convention Centre, hotel and office tower).

Back on the CBD side, more commercial construction.

Controversially, Mirvac (MGR) has also lodged develoment plans to build a 35 storey office tower at yon western end of Pyrmont Bridge, though there will likely be stiff opposition from residents at One Darling Harbour, some of whom stand to have their harbour views impaired.

Huge changes for this part of town.!
